1.6 Disclaimers (An excerpt from the Student Organization Handbook)
1.6.1
Off-Campus Events
All Student Organization notices, flyers and emails for off-
campus event MUST include the following disclaimer language in bold 12pt. font:
“This event is not sponsored by LMU Loyola Law School, which disclaims all responsibility for
matters associated with this event.”

Viewpoint Disclaimer
All Student Organization notices, flyers and emails for on-campus event MUST include the following disclaimer language in bold 12pt. font:
“LMU Loyola Law School provides a forum for the dissemination of diverse viewpoints to promote the examination of important academic and social issues. This does not mean that LMU Loyola Law School endorses those viewpoints.”

Website Disclaimer
Any privately hosted web page which is linked from a Student Organization
page on lls.edu must have the following disclaimer language in bold 12pt. font appearing prominently on the home page:
“This is not an official LMU Loyola Law School website, and LMU Loyola Law School does not offer, endorse, recommend or guarantee any claims, viewpoints, products or services on this website. The organization and its website provider are responsible for the content and system availability of this website.”
