Telehealth Services

The medical professionals of the Loyola Marymount University Student Health Services (SHS) are available for Zoom Telehealth visits. SHS has also waived the access fee for the Fall 2020 semester. Learn more here.

Loyola Law School students enrolled in six or more units may access Student Health Services (SHS), a full-service medical office located on the Loyola Marymount University campus in Westchester. Staffed by a team of physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, an x-ray technologist, and trained support staff members, their services include treatment for illnesses and injuries, preventive care, gynecological health services, vaccinations and allergy shots, X-rays, health education/wellness programs, and more. Procedures or health conditions outside their scope are referred out to a local health care facility at which the student is responsible for all costs. SHS is only available to students; a student's spouse/family are not eligible.

Schedule a confidential appointment online via the MyHealth Portal or by calling (310) 338-2881. In an effort to better serve students and to decrease waiting times, all visits will be by appointment only. Same day appointments are usually available. Students must present their student ID card.

Loyola Law School students must pay a one-time access fee per semester if utilizing SHS. Additional fees may be incurred for laboratory tests, x-rays, immunizations, medications, and supplies. Fees are billed to the student's account, which may be paid in the Student Accounts Office. Patients are responsible for asking SHS for itemized billing statements and submitting claims to their respective insurance plans for reimbursement. Loyola Law School graduates are generally given a thirty-day (30-day) extension for available services through SHS. This extension will commence on graduation day. Fees during this time are due at the time of service and will not be billed to student accounts.

SHS is not an insurance plan. It does not assume any responsibility for medical costs incurred by students. All consultations and medical records are strictly confidential and are covered by the laws of confidentiality of the State of California. Medical records will not be released without the student's written consent.
