All student-led events are submitted through LEO Engage to ensure they’re included in official communications like the weekly Student Life Event Newsletter, sent every Monday. FAQ for All Students: How LEO-Engage works for you as a user What is LEO-Engage? LEO-Engage is a student engagement platform that allows users to interact with co-curricular & extra-curricular organizations on our campus. How do I use it? The platform is designed for students to have a central hub for all student -led activity. Here students can navigate the platform and patriciate in the following activities: View all active student organizations Join student organizations View campus events RSVP to attend events Keep up to date regarding student organization news How do I find LLS student organizations on LEO-Engage? Each organization has a designated page. You can search directly using the organizations name or browse the full list of active organizations using the organizations tab on the left-hand side of the platform. All LMU & LLS registered student organizations will appear when using the organization icon. You can sort the list by branch “LMU Loyola Law School” to view only LLS student organizations. I am interested in an organization on campus. How do I join on LEO-Engage? Find the designated page of the organization. You will be able to see all of the public information they have visible. At the top of the page, you will see a button asking you to join the organization. Members are then approved by the executive board members of each organization. I have joined the student organization on LEO-Engage. What comes next? After you join an organization, you will receive updates about the organization’s activity. Plus, the organization will be able to send messages directly to you with updates and new information. Do I still have to pay membership fees even though I'm a "member" on LEO-Engage? Yes. Depending on the organization, you may be asked to pay membership dues for additional involvement within the organization. Please make sure to ask or check outgoing communication from your organizations of interest to confirm membership dues & method of payment. Where do I find out about events on campus and RSVP? Campus events & RSVP forms are hosted in a designated section of LEO. Similar to viewing organizations, you can sort the list of events by branch “LMU Loyola Law School” to view only LLS student organizations. Once you find an event that interest you, click & read the event details and RSVP on the event page. Some RSVP forms will ask you to answer a few additional questions, so make sure to click through all of the options. Once you RSVP to an event, you will receive automatic updates of any events changes & a reminder 24 hours before the event. FAQ for Student Organization Leaders I'm a new student org leader. Where do I start? Start with the Student Organization Toolkit and the Student Organization Handbook! It includes essential resources and training videos from the Mandatory Training for Finances and Events. This is your launchpad for planning, budgeting, and hosting successful events. How do I reserve space for an event? Use the 25Live Reservation System to request campus spaces for your programs. Reserve a space on 25Live. Where can I find DSBA reimbursement guidelines? Check out the DSBA Reimbursement Guidelines here. Do I need to post my event somewhere? Yes! All student-led events must be submitted through LEO-Engage to be included in the weekly Student Life newsletter and promoted across campus. When does the Student Life Event Newsletter come out? The Student Life Event Newsletter is delivered every Monday at 8:30 AM, highlighting upcoming student organization events submitted via LEO Engage. To be included, events must be posted by Thursday night at 11:59pm the week before. So please plan ahead, submit early, and ensure your event receives the attention it deserves!
