Interim Class Recording Access Policy

Because of the continued disruption caused by COVID-19 and the necessity for all courses to begin remotely, we are continuing the interim class recording access policy in place during the Spring 2020 semester. The goal of the interim policy is to support students who may miss out on class content resulting from technological difficulties or who are unable to attend synchronous virtual class sessions because of illness or other disruptions caused by COVID-19. If a student does not already have access to the class recordings through Brightspace, the student should use the Class Recording Request Form to request the recordings for the class session that the student missed. The professor will be informed of the request but approval will not be required to release the recording. Class attendance remains essential, and the recordings are not a substitute for regular attendance. Students who are not able to attend class regularly should be referred to the Office of Student Affairs.
