BOC is established for the purpose of creating a unified voice for male students at Loyola Law School as well as being awake, aware of and responsive to their role with the environment at and beyond Loyola Law School. We strive for legal excellence by providing academic support, professional developmental skills, and information about employment opportunities in diverse settings. Our common goal is to graduate law school and network with "diverse" people.
It is a non-discriminating unity with the desire to help one another and the community. Understanding that we individually encompass personality and background differences, we commit to a covenant of harmony amongst one another, and respect toward others.
We come together as a source of motivation, support, and education about multicultural heritages, encouragement, and leadership. We promote growth in character, unity of feeling, and social communion.
Within this brotherhood, we sacrifice our self-centeredness in order to become an interdependent unit committed to create an environment that encourages intellectual and professional growth, moral and ethical values, cultural awareness, networking, and academic retention.
