Meet the Team

The members of the Office of Student Affairs and the Office of Student Life are part of a large network of Law School and University departments, faculty, staff, and other professionals dedicated to supporting students. The Loyola Law School Office of Student Services oversees the Office of Student Affairs, Office of Student Life, Accessibility Office, the Office of the Registrar, and the Career Development Office. The Team is located in the Student Services Suite in Founders Hall 105.

The Office of Student Affairs coordinates a wide range of services, events, and resources that enrich the student experience and supports the success of Loyola Law School students.

Public health guidelines have forced the Office of Student Affairs and Office of Student Services to work remotely. Advises students on Law School policies and procedures, Counsels students on academic and personal issues, Serves as Title IX Deputy Coordinator, Directs coordination and implementation of office programs and events, Manages Student Health Insurance Plan and Assists with conduct investigations and enforces student disciplinary code.

Serves as the Designated Service Official (DSO) and liaison with OISS and Graduate Admissions, Manages Moral Character and Fitness Amendments, Counsels and advises students and staff on academic rules, and Law School policies  and Oversees the update and production of annual electronic student policy manuals and handbooks.

Works with the Office of Student Affairs and the Office of the Registrar to coordinate procedures for exam accommodations, Updates and maintains data in AIM Management System. Produces queries or reports to distribute information on data as needed, Maintains data to track the office’s efforts as well as students’ accommodations to help improve the office’s efficacy and project student needs, Assesses temporary injuries; collects documentation, reviews impact of injuries, recommends appropriate accommodations and implements plan, and Conducts Accessibility Services intakes for current and admitted students.

The Director of Student Life and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) fosters a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive environment for students at LMU Loyola Law School. Alejandra oversees student government and organization advising, as well as campus-wide initiatives, including the Dean’s annual events, wellness programs, DEI Week, and cultural celebrations. She also spearheads cross-campus efforts to enhance mental health, diversity, equity, and foster a sense of belonging on campus. Furthermore, she manages engagement communications for the Student Life and Wellness Newsletters, oversees the campus counseling office, handles budgetary responsibilities, and collaborates with university leadership to achieve strategic objectives.

As Senior Student Life Coordinator, he supports the Law School’s Office of Student Life and DEI to nurture and support the empowering community of LMU Loyola Law School. Leonard works to facilitate communications about campus and departmental activities, support student organizations, coordinate programs, and execute campus-wide events to promote engagement, with an emphasis on wellness, personal development & community building. Leonard also provides operational and administrative support across Student Services.
